H2O are MCS registered and accredited to install both solar thermal and photovoltaic (PV) panels for commercial and domestic premises. We are proud to have operational engineers who have achieved approved installer status with Dimplex and Vaillant, two globally recognised brands. H2O offer thermal and PV panels and can optimise these with your current energy sources to produce a more energy efficient installation. By incorporating new technologies with the traditional, H2O provide a holistic approach so that the two systems work together rather than separately. We offer a free consultation service and will price match any reasonable estimates.

About Solar PV (electric)

Solar Photovoltaic (PV) are low maintenance panels that convert the sun’s energy into electricity. Whenever the amount of the electricity generated exceeds your electricity demand, the excess automatically flows into the National Grid - and you are paid for it by your electricity supplier.

Solar PV panels simply require daylight to produce electricity – and will produce significant amounts of power 24 hours a day, seven days a week – even on cloudy days. By having your PV system installed by an MCS accredited installer, you will receive the full financial benefits of generating your own clean, green electricity under the government’s Feed-In Tariff scheme:

  • A typical annual return on investment is 9% tax free. The price paid to you for generating electricity (41.3p per unit) and exporting to the Grid (3p per unit) are index linked and guaranteed for 25 years.

About Solar Thermal

Our solar thermal systems enable the sun to provide you with up to 70% of your annual hot water needs, saving you money on your energy bills. These panels can be mounted on your roof space or at ground level. The panels heat your hot water cylinder by means of a sophisticated digital controller that ensures optimum performance in all weather conditions.

H2O will install and optimise the system in conjunction with your traditional system, to ensure that it is working effectively to reduce the reliance of gas being consumed. You can monitor the performance of your panels not just by your reduced bills but we will also fit a digital controller that will display the temperature of the panel and hot water in your cylinder.

Some households, schools and other public sector organisations are eligible for grants towards their solar hot water systems, under the low carbon building programme.

H2O free consultation service includes:

  • An individual survey and quote.
  • An individual energy saving calculation.
  • A full explanation of solar PV and thermal equipment.
  • Information about Feed-in Tariffs (FITs).

H2O ongoing care services at no extra cost:

  • Three year warranty on our installation.
  • Two year service and optimisation of system.
  • Two year cleaning of panels.
  • Two year electric test of inverters.
